GORCHYMYN TRAFFIG DROS DRO 2025 RHODDIR RHYBUDD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Prifyrdd dros Ben-y-bont ar Ogwr gan arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Trafg Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu o fewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn gwneud Gorchymyn fydd yn cyfwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a eglurir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd gwneud gwaith toi â chasglydd ceirios, a’r fordd heb fod yn ddigon llydan i ganiatáu mynediad tra bydd y casglydd ceirios yn ei le. Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 17/08/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi cael ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd y cyntaf.

Disgwylir i’r gwaith a gynlluniwyd gael ei wneud rhwng 08:00a.m. a 17:00p.m. ar 17/08/2025 Ni fydd llwybr amgen i gerbydau. Cedwir mynediad i’r gwasanaethau brys. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo. Ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n weithredol, fodd bynnag, ond ar y cyfryw amser ac i’r cyfryw raddau ag y dangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion trafg a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyfredinol Arwyddion Trafg 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(MARKET STREET, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Secton 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulaton Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notce to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restricton set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to undertaking roofng works with a cherry picker, with the road width not being sufcient to allow for access whilst the cherry picker is in positon. The Order will come into force on the 17/08/2025 and will contnue in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or untl such tme as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. 

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Market Street, Bridgend, from its juncton with York Street to where it meets Ty Cof. It is antcipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00am and 17:00pm on the 17/08/2025. There will be no alternatve route for vehicles. Access will be maintained for emergency services. 
Pedestrian access will be maintained to all propertes. The restrictons shall however only apply at such tme and to such extent as shall from tme to tme be indicated by trafc signs prescribed by The Trafc Signs Regulatons and General Directons 2016.
