ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C254 STATION ROAD WYALM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C254 Station Road Wylam from its junction with Wylam Tynedale District Footpath 015 heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 9 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd August 2025 until the 25th August 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates and times during the above period however the order will remain in place until 25th August 2025:
• 23rd August 2025 until the 24th August 2025 between the hours of 21:30 - 03:00
• 24th August 2025 until the 25th August 2025 between the hours of 23:30 - 06:00
Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be signed where necessary and will be via C254, C257, B6528, A69, A6085, A695, B6317, C301 and vice-versa. Where possible these changes will be signed accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management to re-rail the level crossing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

(C302 HALTWHISTLE 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make the above-named Order under Sections 81 to 84 and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order, if made, will be to introduce a 30 miles per hour speed restriction on the following lengths of highways in Haltwhistle in the County of Northumberland:-

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C324 KNARSDALE TO EALS BANK SLAGGYFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C324 Knarsdale to Eals Bank Slaggyford from its junction with the U7001 Burnstones Junction to Knarsdale Hall Junction, Lambley heading southwards for a distance of 426 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th August 2025 until the 18th August 2025. It is expected that the road will be closed from the 7th August 2025 until the 11th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 18th August 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U7001, A689 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Novo Tech to install a pole. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

B6295 MULTIPLE ROADS ALLENHEADS
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Durham Council.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland and Durham.
• B6295 (from A689 Junction To County Boundary), Cowshill from its junction with A689 Copthill, Cowshill to the county boundary for a distance of 2830 metres.
• B6295 County Boundary To Allenheads, Allenheads for its entire length.
• B6295 Allenheads Main Road Through Village, Allenheads from its junction with B6295 County Boundary To Allenheads heading in a northward direction for a distance of 238 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th August 2025 until the 28th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 4th August 2025 until the 24th August 2025, the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 28th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C302, C11, A689, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16A
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council (“The Council”), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers, has made on the 23rd July 2025 the Northumberland County Council (Prudhoe Miners Race 2025) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025 (“the TTRO”).
The Council has made the TTRO for the purpose of facilitating the holding of the Prudhoe Miners Race 2025 (“the Event”) by restricting traffic on the U8280 Broomhouse Road from it’s junction with the A695 to the Emmerson Football ground heading West for a distance of 270 metres, the U8280 Castlefields Drive from it’s junction with Prudhoe Town Tynedale district bridleway heading northwards for a distance of 270 metres, the A695 from it’s junction with Castlefields Drive heading west for a distance of 1450 metres, the A695 Princess Way from it’s junction with Castle Lea heading east for a distance of 140 metres and the U8280 Regents Drive for it’s entire length (“the Road”).
The restrictions will come into force at 16:00hrs on the 24th August 2025 and will remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 24th August 2025 pursuant to the provisions of section 16B of the Act.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.
All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will only have effect for so long as is necessary.
Whilst the TTRO is all apply to:
a. Any vehicle being used on the Road related to the organisation and holding of the Event;
b. Any vehicle being used in an emergency, or at the direction of, or with the permission of, an Authorised Officer of the Council.
c. Any vehicle which is used for the purposes of the emergency services.
d. Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water or other critical service, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the Road); or
e. The pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the Road.
