Two Ball Lonnen - Prohibition All Vehicular Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(TWO BALL LONNEN) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 31 July 2025 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic
Phase 1 - Fenham Hall Drive from its junction with Two Ball Lonnen in a Easterly direction for a distance of 30m and Netherby Drive from its junction with Two Ball Lonnen in a Westerly direction for a distance of 34m.
Phase 2 - Fenham Hall Drive, from its junction with Queensway for a distance of 90 metres in a East direction.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works and police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles on emergency call.
5. The Order will come into operation on 4 August 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 24 November 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
