TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC144765263: The City of Manchester (Wellington Road, Old Moat Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Wellington Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Victoria Road, Wilmslow Road, Mauldeth Road West, Wellington Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the installation of chambers. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 18th August 2025 to the 24th August 2025. The order shall come into operation on the 18th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
