Wellington Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting For Construction Works

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 2025
The Oldham Borough Council on 28th July 2025 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time on Wellington Road Greenfield - south east side from a point 83 metres north east of its junction with Chew Valley Road for 27 metres north easterly.
The Order is to be made to remove parked vehicles to ensure the safe movement of traffic and access to off-street premises during construction works on the highway.
There are no exemptions for Disabled Badge Holders and will be in force 12 months from 4th August 2025, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
