Queensway Dual Carriageway Brookside to Trench Lock - Temporary 40MPH Speed Limits

What is happening?

Borough of Telford and Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin Queensway Dual Carriageway Brookside to Trench Lock and Queensway Jiggers Bank Roundabout to Brookside Roundabout (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce a temporary 40mph speed limit to maintain safety for road users.
The order is operational from the 3/8/25.

The following road is affected: Queensway Dual Carriageway Trench Lock to Brookside and Queensway Jiggers Bank Rbt to
Brookside Rbt from southbound off slip at Brockton Way to for approx. 900m in a westerly direction only. The maximum duration is 18 months.
