HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 7fed Awst 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 7fed Awst 2025, gan weithio rhwng 08:00 – 17:00.   

2. Roedd angen y Gorchymyn  er mwyn i MJ Quinn wneud gwaith polio mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.   Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.

3.  Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Cas-gwent, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy, ~0.97m o'r gyffordd â Heol Trefynwy am ~185m.  

4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Heol Cas-gwent, Sgwâr Beaufort, Stryd Fawr, Heol Brynbuga, Heol Llandenni, Traffordd yr R71 gyda'r A449 i Fferm New House, R71 Rhaglan i'r A449 ac i'r gwrthwyneb  

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Cas-gwent, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(CHEPSTOW ROAD, RAGLAN, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 7th August 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 7th August 2025, operating between 08:00 – 17:00.  

2.The order was necessary for MJ Quinn Poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Chepstow Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire , ~0.97m from its junction with Monmouth Road for ~185m.  

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- Chepstow Road, Beaufort Square, High Street, Usk Road, Llandenny Road, R71 Overpass with A449 to New House Farm, R71 Raglan to A449 and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Chepstow Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
