Fernleigh Drive, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2308 FERNLEIGH DRIVE, SEATON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
U2308 Fernleigh Drive, Seaton, from a point outside No.40 Fernleigh Drive, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 100m; and
U2308 Fernleigh Drive, Seaton, from a point outside No.40 Fernleigh Drive, extending in an easterly direction for approx. 50m.
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 19 August 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 8 days between 0800 and 1800 hours and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
