What is happening?

The Borough Of Stevenage (Permit Parking) Order 2018 (Amendment No 2) Order 2025
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Stevenage Borough Council, acting as agents for the Hertfordshire County Council in order to maintain and improve the amenity of the area and prevent potentially obstructive parking proposes to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order would be to introduce permit parking controls to Green Street, Ivel Road and parts of Woolners Way with effect from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday.
It is proposed that parking permits will be available for use in vehicles with a maximum authorised mass of up to 3,500Kg and which seat fewer than 12 passengers in addition to the driver and that the charges associated with the scheme will be:
