Greenway, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bishop's Lydeard Temporary Closure of Greenway
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Greenway - from the outside property number 64 Greenway to outside properly number 71 Greenway. A total distance of 40 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out supply separation works.
The Order becomes effective on 14th August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 18th August 2025 and last until 19th August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
