Somerset Council Parish of Chipstable Temporary Closure of Blackwell Road

Somerset Council In exercise of Its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Blackwell Road -from the junction with Pitcombe Lane, south-westwards for a total distance of 104 metres. This Order will enable Barr Engineering Services to carry out pole replacement works on behalf of Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 31st July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6th August 2025 and last until 7th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 2 days.
