Broadlands Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Link Box Replacememnt Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Broadlands Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Broadlands Road - from the junction with Trull Road to the junction with Mount Nebo. A total distance of 78 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus to carry out link box replacement works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 31st July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 5th August 2025 and last until 8th August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
