Princes Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Maintenance Works

Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Princes Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Princes Street - from the junction with Queen Street to the junction with Viney Street. A total distance of 75 metres. This Order will enable Ericssons to carry out mast maintenance of behalf of MBNL.

The Order becomes effective on 14th August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 18th August 2025 and last until 18th August 2025 between the hours of 10:00 - 15:30 for a total of 5.5 hours.
