Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

LADYSMITH ROAD – 4566

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “Any time” on 7 August 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road, from its junction with Southbury Road EN1 for approximately 45 metres.

Whilst these roads are closed local diversions would be in place.

LAVENDER HILL EN2, WAGGON ROAD EN4, CONNAUGHT GARDENS N14, BELL LANE EN3 – 4567

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Resurfacing Works

Operational Date and times:

Lavender Hill EN2

08:00 hours to 18:00 on 11 August 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.

Waggon Road EN4

08:00 hours to 18:00 on 12 August for 2 days or until works are completed.

Connaught Gardens N13

08:00 hours to 18:00 on 12 August for 2 days or until works are completed.

Bell Lane EN3

08:00 hours to 18:00 on 13 August for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

  • Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between its junction with Gordon Hill and Chase Side; and

  • Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between No.74 to its junction with Stagg Hill

  • Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between No.66 and its junction with Hazelwood Lane

  • Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between Eastfield Road to Brimsdown Avenue

Whilst these roads are closed local diversions will be in operation.

BOWES ROAD N11 – 4568

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 12 August for 4 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on the north and south side, from a point between the common boundary of Nos. 401/403 to the junction with Cross Road.

LAVENDER HILL EN2 – 4569

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

08:00 hours to 18:00 on 12 August 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking between Nos 26/28 Lavender Hill and Nos 84/86.

GREEN STREET, EDINGTON ROAD, FREDERICK CRESCENT EN3 – 4570

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 13 August 2025 for 4 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

Green Street EN3

  • Suspend parking between Nos. 30/32 and Nos. 60/62 on both sides of the road; and

Edington Road EN3

  • Suspend parking from its junction with Green Street for approximately 25 metres on both sides of the road; and

Frederick Crescent EN3

  • Suspend parking from its junction with Green Street for approximately 25 metres on both sides of the road,

SNELLS PARK, N18 – 4571

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 6 August 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking from a point 10m from its junction with Grove Street, for approximately 40 metres on both sides of the carriageway.

ABERDEEN ROAD, N18 – 4572

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 4 August 2025 for 6 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on the south side, between Edinburgh Road and Kings Road.
