MAE GWASANAETHAU CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adrannau 1(1), 2(1), 2(2)a, 82(2)a), 83(1), 84(1) a (2) a 124(1)(d) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, a pharagraff 27 o Atodlen 9 iddi.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwahardd a chyfyngu ar eFeydd ar yr darn o gefnffordd yr A40 rhwng Llanddewi Velfre i Redstone Cross yn Sir Benfro (fel y disgrifir yn Atodlenni i’r Hysbysiad hwn).

Bydd Gorchymyn Cefnffordd yr A40 (Llanddewi Velfre, Sir Benfro) (Terfyn Cyflymder 50MYA) 2004 yn cael ei ddirymu o ganlyniad i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig.

Ymgynghorir o 21 diwrnod o 30 Gorffennaf 2025 ymlaen, gellir archwilio copi o’r Gorchymyn yn arfaethedig, y cynllun a’r Datganiad o Rhesymau dydd Sadwrn

Y darn hwnnw o’r gefnffordd o bwynt 71 o fetrau i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin hyd at bwynt 82 o fetrau i’r de-ddwyrain o ganol y gylchfan gan gynnwys cylchfan gyratory Cylchfan Penblewin.

Y darn hwnnw o’r A40 sy’n rhedeg i’r de o’r gefnffordd ac sy’n ymuno â hi o bwynt 65 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin hyd at bwynt 150 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin.

Terfyn cyflymder 30 mya

Y darn hwnnw o’r A40 sy’n rhedeg i’r de o’r gefnffordd ac sy’n ymuno â hi o bwynt 65 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin hyd at y fynediad i Ardal Offeryn a reolir gan Llywodraeth Cymru, 398 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin.

Dileu cyfyngiad o ddarannau o’r gefnffordd

Y darn hwnnw o’r gefnffordd 109 metr i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Dwyrain Llanddewi Velfre, a phwynt 514 metr i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Dwyrain Llanddewi Velfre, ac sy’n cynnwys cylchfan gyratory Cylchfan Dwyrain Llanddewi Velfre.

Y darn hwnnw o’r gefnffordd 65 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin hyd at bwynt 171 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganol Cylchfan Penblewin.

THE A40 TRUNK ROAD (LLANDEWI VELFREY TO REDSTONE CROSS, PEMBROKESHIRE) (PROHIBITION OF LEFT-HAND TURN, 40 MPH AND 30 MPH SPEED LIMITS AND DESTRICTION) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose to make an Order under sections1(1), 2(1) and 2(2)a, 82(2)a), 83(1), 84(1) and (2) and 124(1)(d) of, and paragraph 27 of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit and restrict vehicles on the length of the A40 trunk road from Llanddewi Velfrey to Redstone Cross in Pembrokeshire as described in the Schedules to this Notice.

The A40 Trunk Road (Llanddewi Velfrey, Pembrokeshire) (50MPH Speed Limit) Order 2004 will be revoked by the proposed Order.

During a period of 21 days from 30 July 2025, a copy of the proposed Order, plans and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected free of charge, during normal opening hours at the A40 Llanddewi Velfrey to Redstone Cross Site Office, Parc y Ddraig, Llanddewi Velfrey, SA67 7AA and Queen’s Hall, 44 High Street, Narberth SA67 7AS, or can be viewed on the Welsh Government’s website at https://gov.wales/road-orders, or may be obtained free of charge from the address below (quoting reference number 4292291/4).

Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must be sent by e-mail to TransportOrdersBranch@gov.wales or in writing to Orders Branch, Transport, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ by 20 August 2025.

If you wish to object, support or make representations, the Welsh Government may need to consult with people and organisations outside the Welsh Government.

As part of the consultation process, we may publish your response, in whole or in part, including your name and address. We will, however, only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to address the issues raised. If you do not wish your name and address to be published, you should state this clearly in writing when you send in your views. If you do not, we will assume that you are content for this information to be made public.

If a Public Inquiry is held, the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them weight as a result.

The westbound carriageway of the trunk road on the side road south of the trunk road that connects with the B4313 Redstone Road at Redstone Cross Junction.

SCHEDULE 2

40mph Speed Limit

That length of the trunk road from a point 71 metres northeast of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout to a point 82 metres southeast of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout including the circulatory carriageway of the Penblewin Roundabout.

That length of the A40 running south and parallel to the trunk road from a point 65 metres east of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout to a point 150 metres east of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout.

SCHEDULE 3

30mph Speed Limit

That length of the A40 running south of and parallel to the trunk road from a point 65 metres east of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout to the access to the Welsh Government managed Rest Area, 398 metres to the east of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout.

SCHEDULE 4

Destruction of Restrictions

That length of the trunk road from a point 109 metres east of the centre of Llanddewi Velfrey East Roundabout to a point 514 metres northeast of the centre of Llanddewi Velfrey East Roundabout, including the circulatory carriageway of the Llanddewi Velfrey East Roundabout.

That length of the trunk road from a point 65 metres east of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout to a point 171 metres east of the centre of Penblewin Roundabout.
