Clipstone Road West - Temporary Prohibition of Driving For Gas Mains Replacement Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CLIPSTONE ROAD WEST, MANSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025 (M25-073)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:
a. Clipstone Road West, Mansfield - For its entire length.
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 07:00 hours Monday 4th August 2025 Until 18:00 hours Sunday 31st August 2025 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
a. Sherwood Hall Road - Little Carter Lane - Southwell Road West - Oak Tree Lane - Pump Hallow Road and vice versa
The Order will come into force on 4th August 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Cadent to carry out gas mains replacement works;
