THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (FIRST LANE (U3190), PEMBROKE & PUBLIC FOOTPATH INTO ST MICHAEL'S ROAD, PEMBROKE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The proposed Order is necessary so that a new foul drainage system and upgrading of utility services can be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of road and footpath identified in the schedule to this notice.
The restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 18th August 2025 for a duration of 6 months, however it should be noted that the closures will only be required for short durations, as and when required during that timeframe.
The alternative route for traffic will be via Upper Lamphey Road (A4139), East End Square roundabout, Holyland Road and A4075 towards Nash Fingerpost.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Public footpath link which runs from a point on First Lane into St Michael’s Road residential estate.

Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Penfro yn bwriadu, nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.
Mae’r gorchymyn arfaethedig yn angenrheidiol er mwyn gallu gosod system draenio dwr budr ac uwchraddio gwasanaethau cyfleustodau.
Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd pob traffig cerbydol dros dro, heblaw am gerbydau esempta, rhag symud ar hyd y rhan honno o’r ffordd a’r llwybr troed a bennir yn yr amser a’r hysbysiad hwn.
Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu dangos gan arwyddion priodol, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun 18 Awst 2025 am gyfnod o 6 mis. Fodd bynnag, dylid nodi y bydd dim ond gofyniad byr y bydd angen camu, yn ôl yr angen, yn ystod y cyfnod hwnnw.
Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig fydd hyd Heol Llanfihangel Uchaf (A4139), cylchfan Sgwâr Dwyreiniol, Heol Holyland a’r A4075 tuag at fynedfa’r Nash.
Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau’n fuddiol hyd at uchafswm o 18 mis fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen ail-drefnu’r gwaith neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
