THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (ST DAVIDS ROAD, LETTERSTON (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order is necessary so that carriageway resurfacing works can be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of St Davids Road, Letterston – from its junction with the A40(T) Haverfordwest to Fishguard road, west to a point near the access to Nant Y Ffynnon Estate.

It is intended that the restrictions which will be carried out in stages and signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 4th August 2025 for approximately 10 working days.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the A40(T) Haverfordwest to Fishguard road, C3047 road towards Mathry and B4331.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Penfro wedi gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Dros Dro (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.

Mae’r gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol fel y gellir rhoi wyneb newydd ar y gyfrbffyrdd.

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro bob traffig cerbydol heblaw am gerbydau esempt rhag mynd ar hyd y rhan honno o Heol Ddewi, Treletert – o’i chyffordd â cheffnffordd yr A40 o Hwlffordd i Abergwaun, tua’r gorllewin i bwynt ger y fynedfa i Ystad Nant y Ffynnon.

Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu gweithredu bob yn dipyn a’u harwyddo yn unol â hynny, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun 4 Awst 2025 am oddeutu 10 diwrnod gwaith.

Y llwybr amgen i draffig fydd yr hyd ceffnffordd yr A40 o Hwlffordd i Abergwaun, ffordd C3047 tua ag at ffyrdd B4331.

Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am uchafswm o 18 mis fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen aildrefnu’r gwaith neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
