NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF ORDER SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BA27/70, HIGH STREET, KEYNSHAM) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Notice is given that the order made by Bath and North East Somerset Council on 27th February 2025 will be continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of her powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order will continue in force until the completion of the works to which the order relates, or until 10 March 2026, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of which will be to continue to close the section of Public Footpath BA27/70 commencing from ST65326872 and proceeding in a generally NE for approx 68m to ST65366875.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be constructing apartment blocks.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Danes Lane - Charlton Road - High Street. Vice Versa.
