Sandhurst, Temporary Road Closures Due To Carriageway Patching Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CROWTHORNE ROAD, SANDHURST AND LONGDOWN ROAD, SANDHURST)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Crowthorne Road, Sandhurst in both directions between A321 Yorktown Road and Eagle House School.
b) Longdown Road, Sandhurst in both directions
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via:
a) A321 Crowthorne Road, A3095 Rackstraw Road, A3095 Foresters Way, B3348 Bracknell Road, High Street, Sandhurst Road and this route reversed.
b) A321 Crowthorne Road, A321 High Street, Church Road, High Street, and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works.
The Order came into operation on the 30th July 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months.
However, It is currently planned that the closure will be in place on 30th July 2025 from 09:30 until 15:30.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
