Holway - Temporary Closure For Cleaning Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Holway

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Holway - from the junction with Waterlake Road to the junction with Perry Street. A total distance of 366 metres.

This Order will enable Kier to carry out cleaning works on behalf of South West Water.

The Order becomes effective on 14th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th August 2025 and last until 20th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:30 for a total of 3 days.
