C420 Nelson Drive - Temporary Road Closure

C420 NELSON DRIVE CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C420 Nelson Drive Cramlington from its junction with B1326 Station Road, Cramlington heading in a northwards direction for a length of 375 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th August 2025 until the 13th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th August 2025 until the 30th August 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C420, A1171, and A1172. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to resurface the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
