Tintinhull Road - Temporary Closure For Pole Replacement

What is happening?

Somerset Council 
Parish of Chilthorne Domer 
Temporary Closure of Tintinhull Road 

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Tintinhull Road - from the junction with Chilthorne Hill to the junction with Main Street. A total distance of 620 metres. 

This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement. 

The Order becomes effective on 14th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 21st August 2025 and last until 21st August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
