Hampshire County Council Temporary Suspension of Parking & Waiting at Any Time, One-Way System, Speed Restriction - Various Roads / Overton / Basingstoke / Car

Fest South / 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Car Fest South 2025 to take place on the Thursday 11th August 2025.

Temporary Suspension of Parking & Waiting at Any Time - To impose a one-way road on the following road(s):

1. White Hill Road, between its junctions with the A303 and Winchester Street, Overton Village.

2. Waltham Road, between its junctions with Berrydown Lane and Burley Lane.

3. Burley Lane, between its junctions with Waltham Lane and Steventon Warren Lane.

4. Steventon Warren Lane, between its junctions with the A303 and Burley Lane.

5. Berrydown Lane, between its junctions with B3400 London Road and Waltham Road. Temporary One-Way System: - To impose a one-way restriction on the following road(s):

1. Waltham Lane (eastwards only), from its junction with Waltham Road to its junction with Burley Lane.

2. Burley Lane (southwards only), from its junction with Waltham Lane to its junction with Steventon Warren Lane.

3. Steventon Warren Lane (southwards only), from its junction with Burley Lane to a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303 Slip Road by Popham Airfield.

4. White Hill Road (northwards only), from a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303 to the entrance to the Test Valley Golf Club.

5. White Hill Road (southwards only), from the entrance to the Test Valley Golf Club to a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303.

Temporary Speed Restriction - To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road(s):

1. Waltham Road, from its junction with Berrydown Lane to its junction with Burley Lane.

2. Burley Lane, from its junction with Waltham Lane to its junction with Steventon Warren Lane.

3. Steventon Warren Lane, from its junction with Burley Lane to its junction with the A303 Slip-Road by Popham Airfield.

4. White Hill Road, from a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303 to the junction with Sapley Lane.

5. B3400 London Road, from a point approximately 900m east of its junction with Two Gate Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: on 11th August 2025 for 24 hours a day for 15 days or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.

This Restrictions have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for Car Fest 2025.
