Temporary Closure of Sheep Way

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Sheep Way - from the junction with Littlefield's Way to the junction with Silver Springs for a total distance of 119 meters. 

This Order will enable Network Plus to install new supply plots on behalf of National Grid.

The Order becomes effective on 31st July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 4th August 2025 and last until 8th August 2025 between the hours of 0:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days. Statement of Reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or 
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
