Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order is to amend the North Somerset Council (Moving Traffic Prohibitions and Restrictions, North Somerset Consolidation Order 2024 to include the introduction of new bus lanes on the Bridgewater Road A38 approaches to its junction with A4174 Colliters Way commonly known as Lime Kiln Roundabout. The extent of the proposal is described in the Schedule to this Notice.

Schedule - Part 3: Moving Restrictions. Bus Lanes with exemptions for pedal cycles, motorcycles and taxis – A38 Bridgewater Road. Northeast bound - a section of bus lane outside Castle Farm leading to the roundabout (approximately 82m in length) plan reference: BSIP-NSC-TRO-LKR-DR-GA-0002. Southwest bound – a section of bus leading to the roundabout (approximately 64m in length) plan reference: BSIP-NSC-TRO-LKR-DR-GA-0002. Southwest bound – a continuation of the southwest bound bus lane on the nearside lane of the roundabout into Colliters Way (approximately 11m in length) plan reference: BSIP-NSC-TRO-LKR-DR-GA-0002.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order shall be to amend the North Somerset Council (Speed Limit Restrictions, North Somerset) Consolidation Order 2024 to alter the speed restrictions on A38 Bridgewater Road at its junction with A4174 Colliters Way commonly known as Lime Kiln Roundabout. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this Notice.

Public Path Diversion Order No. 2 2025
On 10 July 2025 North Somerset Council confirmed the above Order, made under section 119, Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert part of Restricted Byways LA 7/44 and LA 7/33 and parts of Public Footpath LA 7/43 and LA 7/33 in the Parish of Dundry, within the District of North Somerset.
Part of Restricted Byway LA 7/44 from point A (grid ref. ST 54826 66849) running in a south-west westerly direction to point B (grid ref. ST 54816 66822), a total distance of approximately 28m. Restricted Byway LA 7/33 from point B (grid ref. ST 54816 66822), running in a south-south westerly direction to point C (grid ref. ST 54787 66773), then running in a south-south westerly direction to point D (grid ref. ST 54758 66734) a total distance of approximately 109m. To a Restricted Byway from Point A (grid ref. ST 54826 66849), running in an easterly direction to point E (grid ref. ST 54889 66848), then running in a generally south-south westerly direction to point F (grid ref. ST 54851 66711), a total distance of approximately 208m.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
Station Road, Nailsea, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists
Date coming into force: 26 August 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This order is required because of highway drainage maintenance and will become operative on 26 August 2025, anticipated to be 9 working days, under a 24 hour closure. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
High Street, Wrington, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 8 September 2025

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work being undertaken to provide a safe working area for engineers to access existing telegraph poles to provide fibre overhead cabling for broadband. The order will become operative on the 8 September 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessary by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours duration, between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

This order is required because of highway drainage maintenance works and will become operative on 11 August 2025, anticipated to be of 5 days. The closure will be in effect for 24 hours a day. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.
Schedule – A370 Main Road, Flax Bourton from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Station Road.
