Multiple Roads, West Meon and East End - Temporary closures due to fibre optic cabling installation

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:  High Street & East End between its junction with A32 Alton Road and its junction with Vinnells Lane.  East End & West Meon Road between its junction with Vinnells Lane and its junction with Riplington Lane.  West Meon Road between its junction with Riplington Lane and its junction with Church Lane. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:  A32, Vinnells Lane High Street, A32, A272, Bereleigh House Road, Drayton Lane East End, High Street, A32, A272, The Green, East Meon Road, The Hyde, Church Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 13th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 19 days, with closures 1 & 2 working between the hours 19:00 – 06:00 and closure 3 working between the hours 07:00 – 19:00). 
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN Communications to carry out installation of fibre optic cabling. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: enquiries@ccncommunications.co.uk
CCN Communications will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
