Gawthorpe Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL GAWTHORPE LANE, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Gawthorpe Lane, Bingley has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Gawthorpe Lane from a point outside No.1 Gawthorpe Lane to a point outside No.2 Gawthorpe Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 6th August 2025 and remain in force until 20:00 hours on the 8th August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
