TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER
The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Wedderburn Road, Barking) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE OF INTENT
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate access to an overhead structure for urgent repair works, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham intends to make a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The Order is expected to come into effect on Sunday 24th August 2025. The works expected for:
• Access to an overhead structure for urgent repair to take 1 day to complete. Completion date estimated as Sunday 24th August 2025 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.
However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily: -
• Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Wedderburn Road, both sides, from its junction with Cranborne Road for 20 metres in a north-easterly direction.
• Prohibit all pedestrians on Wedderburn Road, north-west side footpath, from a point 4.6 metres north-east of its junction with Cranborne Road for 8.3 metres in a north-easterly direction.
Alternative routes for pedestrians will be maintained and signed:
• Via Wedderburn Road south-east side footpath.
Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
• Via Cranborne Road, St Erkenwald Road, St Awdrys Road, Wedderburn Road and Vice versa.
