Dock Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Rail Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DOCK LANE, SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of network rail works to be executed on or near Dock Lane, Shipley has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Dock Lane from 20 meters either side of railway overbridge.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Dock Lane (unaffected section), Leeds Road, Briggate, Otley Road, Dockfield and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 09:30 hours on the 4th August 2025 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on the 5th of August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
