NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Ninelands Lane, between its junctions with Derwent Avenue and Long Meadow Gate; 2. Derwent Avenue, at its junction with Ninelands Lane;. 3. Long Meadow, Leeds, in the Garforth & Swillington Ward, at its junction with Ninelands Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available via: 1. Ninelands Lane, Church Lane, Lidgett Lane, Selby Road and vice versa; 2. Church Lane, Grange Avenue, Derwent Avenue and vice versa; 3. Church Lane, Lidgett Lane, Selby Road, Long Meadow Gate, Long Meadows and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Sunday 3rd August 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the Killingbeck Drive Slip Road, Seacroft, Leeds in the Killingbeck & Seacroft Ward between its junctions with York Road and Killingbeck Drive. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: York Road, utilising the Cross Gates roundabout. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Wednesday 30th July 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed at Waterloo Court and it is necessary to store a welfare unit, Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in an eastbound direction along Waterloo Street, Hunslet, Ward, from its junction with Hunslet Road for a distance of approximately 150m from the Waterloo Street electricity substation. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Hunslet Road, Meadow Lane, Great Wilson Street, Hunslet Lane, Crown Point Road, Bowman Lane. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 –
Leeds United 2025 Fixtures – Lowfields Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of football matches at Elland Road), Leeds City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, has today made an Order under Section 1 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along Lowfields Road, Leeds; from its junction with Elland Road up to the overpass with M621, on any day upon which a football match is to take place at Elland Road Stadium, Leeds (provided that such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with a particular match). Where necessary local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate. The Order shall come into operation one hour before the scheduled kick-off of each match and continue for approximately one hour from the end of each match Provisional Premier League match days are scheduled to take place on the following dates (including a pre-season friendly) 2,18 & 30 August; 27 September 4 & 25 October; 22 November & 3, 6 & 20 December 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the Order shall apply to the above fixture dates, (or any alternative re-scheduled match date, together with any League Cup tie to be held at Elland Road this calendar year. Notice Is Hereby Given that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of Leeds Music Festival 2025), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is to introduce the following temporary Speed Limits, Traffic Restrictions and Prohibitions:

A.  06:00hrs Monday 18 August to 1500hrs Monday 25 August 2025

1.    A 30mph Speed Limit on i) A64 York Road (both directions); between Scholes Lane and the A1(M) Bramham Interchange. ii) Bramham Road/ Scholes Lane, Thorner; between Kirkfield Avenue, Thorner to with the A1(M) Bridge. iii) Paradise Way, Bramham; from A64 York Road Roundabout, to and over the A1M Bridge (Thorner Road), along West Woods Road to A659 Wattle Syke Roundabout.

2.    No Stopping (Clearway) on the above sections of A64 York Road; Bramham Road/Thorner Road, Thorner and Paradise Way, Bramham

3.    No U-Turns on the above sections of A64 York Road and Paradise Way, Bramham.

4.    Carriageway Gap Closure on central reservation (in the vicinity of Red Gate 4) of the A64 York Road.

5.    No Right Turn onto A64 (Westbound) Leaving the Festival Site via Red Gates 1, 2, 3 & 4 or Left Turn out onto Thorner Road (except buses) via the yellow gate.

6.    No Right Turn for Traffic travelling A64 Westbound on A64 York Road at Red Gate 3.

7.    No Right Turn onto Paradise Way (northbound) into the Event access and both No right Turn and Give Way restrictions on the unnamed road from Bowcliffe Hall at its junction with Paradise Way.

8.    No Left Turn into A64 York Road (Eastbound) from Mangrill Lane at its junction with the A64 York Road

9.    No Right Turn for Traffic Travelling A64 Westbound on A64 York Road at Mangrill Lane.

1.  Road Closures on Grange Moor Roundabout onto its junction with the A659 Wattle Syke.

1.    A  Prohibition on all vehicles except buses, to stop for more than 20 mins on that part of Sovereign Street, for a distance of 30m in a SW direction from the rear of the existing coach bay restriction

2.    Change of existing loading restriction to a shared loading & taxi restriction; and to prohibition of use of the northern carriageway edge of Sovereign Street for 16m, from a point 17m from its junction wilt Swinegate i) except for between 5.00am and 10:30am; and ii) to all vehicles other than Hackney Carriages at all other times.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order –
Leeds United 2025 Fixtures – Sovereign Street

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of football matches at Elland Road, Leeds City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be that: 1. No vehicle other than for buses, shall stop or wait for a period exceeding 20 minutes, on that part of Sovereign Street that runs for a distance of 18m in a south-westerly direction, from the rear of the existing coach bay restriction. 2. It will also be necessary to change the existing loading to a shared loading & taxi restriction and to prohibit the use of the northern carriageway edge of that part Sovereign Street, that runs for a distance of 16m from a point 17m from its junction wilt Swinegate to all vehicles other than Hackney Carriages. The Order is intended to come into operation three hours before the scheduled kick-off of each match and continue for approximately three hours from the end of each match. Provisional Premier League match days are scheduled to take place on the following dates: 18 & 30 Aug; 27 Sept; 4 & 25 Oct; 22 Nov; 3, 6 & 20 Dec 2025. No person shall proceed on foot along the full lengths of Barwick in Elmet Footpath No. 30; or Bramham cum Oglethorpe Footpath Nos.12 & 13 between 00.01 hours on Monday 11 August 2025 and 23:59 hours on Friday 29 August 2025. 2. Order 2025 – Amendment Order No.12 2025
Grace Street & St Paul’s Street, Little London & Woodhouse Ward

Leeds City Council has today made the above-named Orders, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers. The effect of this Amendment Order, which comes into effect on 16 August 2025 is to introduce: 1. A new Layby at the Grace Street/St Paul’s Street junction, containing a Disabled Parking Bay (limited to 4 hrs – no return within 1 hr) and a Loading Bay (limited to 20 mins – no return within 40 mins). 2. No Waiting at any Time’ around the Grace Street/St Paul’s Street junction, or in front of the existing Disabled Parking Bay on Little Queen Street. 3. Pay and Display Parking Bays on St Paul’s Street, for use by electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles for the purpose of electrical charging only (maximum stay of 4 hrs – no return within 1 hr). The operational hours will be Monday to Saturday (8:00am to 10:00pm) and Sunday (10:00am to 10:00pm) and the following Pay and Display Parking Charges will apply based on Central Short Stay Tariff listed below (these charges being payable in addition to the separate fee to be paid directly to the charge point operator for use of its charge point facility at the applicable rate displayed by the operator for the relevant level of use).

a. Monday to Friday (8.00am to 10.00pm): Up to 20 mins – £1.60; Up to 40 mins – £2.50; Up to 60 mins – £3.40; Up to 90 mins – £5.00; Up to 120 mins – £5.80; Up to 240 mins – £7.00; 6.00pm to 10.00pm – £2.70

b. Saturday (8.00am to 10.00pm): Up to 1 hr – £1.40; Up to 2 hrs – £2.40; Up to 3 hrs – £3.40; Up to 4 hrs – £4.40; Up to 5 hrs – £5.40; 6.00pm to 10.00pm – £3.70

c. Sunday (10.00am to 10.00pm): Up to 4 hours – £2.50; Over 4 hours – £5.50; 6.00pm to 10.00pm – £3.70.

The Amendment Order has also made consequent and necessary updates to the table of On-street Payment Parking Tariffs contained in Schedule 6 of the Citywide Order referred to in the heading to this notice. A copy of the Amendment Order, together with related documentation may be obtained by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of the Amendment Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
