(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (B6456 Kettelshiel, Westruther) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 4 August 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 8 August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for tree works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6456 at Kettelshiel, Westruther.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6456, A697, A6105, B6456 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.
