NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Foster Hill Road, Bedford.
This temporary road closure is required to clear blockages and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:30 to 15:30 hours 21st August 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via De Parys Avenue, Foster Hill Road, Park Avenue.
The reverse route does not apply. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21st August 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. This temporary road closure is required to undertake repairs to the fire hydrant and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along that length Bedford Road Riseley, Riseley Road Bletsoe, North End Bletsoe at a speed exceeding 30 mph.
This temporary 30 mph speed restriction is required for safety of the public and work force for a reinforcement project and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

Effect of the Order:
1. To introduce a double yellow line restriction (No waiting at any time) on the following lengths of roads:
