This temporary road closure is required to clear blockages and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:30 to 15:30 hours 21st August 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to suspend the one way system in St Loyes Street Bedford from Allhallows to Lime Street Bedford.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along that length Bedford Road Riseley, Riseley Road Bletsoe, North End Bletsoe at a speed exceeding 30 mph.

This temporary 30 mph speed restriction is required for safety of the public and work force for a reinforcement project and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

Effect of the Order:

1.  To introduce a double yellow line restriction (No waiting at any time) on the following lengths of roads:

A Stanley Street, Kempston
(i) On both sides, extending from the southern side of
Duncombe Street for a distance of approx. 5 metres in a
southerly direction.
