TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS SANDPITS LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Sandpits Lane commencing from its junction with Bennetts Road South and continuing to its junction with Tamworth Road.
The Order will come into effect on 00.01 hours on Tuesday 5th August 2025 and is required to install a new water connection on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Thursday 7th August 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Sandpits Lane.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FIVEFIELD ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Fivefield Road, commencing from the first junction of Fivefield Road, from Tamworth Road and continuing to outside the Bellway Development, approximately 725m in length.
The Order will come into effect on 00.01 hours on Monday 4th August 2025 and is required to facilitate safe construction on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Thursday 31st December 2026.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Fivefield Road.

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/FOOTPATH CLOSURE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY M315 BENNETTS ROAD
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be a closure of the length of footpath detailed in the Schedule below (when appropriate signage is in place).
The Order will come into operation at 00.01 hours on Friday 1st August 2025 and is required to allow for the safe construction of a new housing development and re alignment of the current Public Right of Way.
The maximum duration of this Order is six (6) months but it is expected that the works will be completed by Sunday 1st February 2026.
Closure times will be as signed on site.
Any alternative route for pedestrians will be sign posted on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:-
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) anyone in connection with the execution of the said works; and (c) local pedestrian access.

• That length of Public Right of Way M315 from a point approximately 210m from Bennetts Road to its meeting point with the Public Right of Way M316 approximately 140m in length.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS AVON STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Avon Street between its junctions with Honiton Road and Clovelly Road.
The Order will come into effect from 09:30 hours on Friday 1st August 2025 and is required for allow manhole frame and cover replacement works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 15:30 hours on Friday 1st August 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Dugdale Road between its junctions with Engleton Road and Beech Road.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 4th August 2025 and is required for allow critical gas main maintenance works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Friday 8th August 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

The Order will come into effect from 09:30 hours on Friday 1st August 2025 and is required for allow manhole frame and cover replacement works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 15:30 hours on Friday 1st August 2025.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Newington Close from its junction with Rowington Road to outside No. 23 Newington Close.
The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on Friday, 1 August 2025 and is required to enable verge protection scheme and associated works on Newington Close to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 15 August 2025.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Newington Close.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS OLD CHURCH ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Old Church Road from its junction with Bellview Way to its junction with Bell Green Road.
The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 4 August 2025 and is required to enable civils works and installation of new telecom cabinets and associated works on Old Church Road to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 8 August 2025.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ACACIA AVENUE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Acacia Avenue commencing from its junction with London Road and continuing to its junction with Seagrave Road.
The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Wednesday 13th August 2025 and is required to enable Severn Trent Water to carry out a sluice valve chamber rebuild on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 15th August 2025.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS RING ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on the Ring Road as detailed in the below Schedule.
The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 11th August 2025 and is required to allow Coventry City Council to carry out VMS maintenance works on the said road. The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 15th August 2025.
The roads will be closed or restricted on various nights and durations depending on the progression of works, which would be as signed on site. Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR EVENTS AT THE COVENTRY BUILDING SOCIETY ARENA 2025/26
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along those lengths of road as set out in Schedule 1 below on the dates specified in Schedule 2 between the hours of 16:30 and 22:45.
The Order would come into effect at 14:00 on 9th August 2025 and is required to enable the safe access and egress from events and sporting fixtures being held at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
