Kiln Lane, Otterbourne, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to delivery of Network Rail materials

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: t
hat part of Kiln Lane between its junction with Main Road and its junction with Highbridge Road. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Highbridge Road, Allbrook Hill, Allbrook Way, Winchester Road, Otterbourne Hill, Main Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 12th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and working between the hours 08:00-16:00). 
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for AM1 to facilitate delivery of essential materials for Network Rail using HIAB lorries. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Alan.setterfield@am1projects.co.uk.
