Cadley Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Installation of High Voltage Cable
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CADLEY LANE, CALDWELL
WHEN: 18 August to 01 September 2025
WHERE: Cadley Lane, Caldwell from its Jct. with Coton Park for an approx. distance of 70m east.
REASON: To facilitate installation of high voltage cable.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A444 Burton Road, Burton Road, Linton Road, Hillside Road, Coton Park and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
