Angus, Wards Road, Brechin- Temporary Traffic Restrictions, to allow for roadworks to be undertaken.

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 28 July 2025, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Wards Road, Brechin) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that road works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 07 August 2025, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of 15 days. The maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The Order prohibits all vehicular traffic from driving or waiting on Wards Road Brechin for its entire length. Access for pedestrians, residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is westbound via Park Road, Park Place and Park View. The reverse route applies.
