Temporary Closure of Montacute Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Montacute Road - from the junction with Dray Road to the junction with Cartgate Link Road. A total distance of 1261 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out desilting, cleaning and jetting works.
The Order becomes effective on 14th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th August 2025 and last until 22nd August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 5 days.
