What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984

sy’n weithredol o 11/08/2025 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Allt y Twr, Acre-fair rhwng Factory Cottage a The Mount i gyfeiriad y de-ddwyrain am 645m i alluogi Sunbelt, ar ran BT, i osod 155m o bibell yn y llain ymyl a chynnal gwaith cloddio angenrheidiol. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan gau’r ffordd yw trwy Allt y Twr, yr A539 Ffordd Llangollen, Ffordd y Garth ac Allt y Twr, a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod yn unol â hynny. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am hyd at 5 diwrnod, neu nes cwblhâur gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 11/08/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Tower Hill, Acrefair between Factory Cottage and The Mount in a south easterly direction for a distance of 645m to enable Sunbelt, on behalf of BT, to lay 155m of ducting in the verge with excavation required. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Tower Hill, A539 Llangollen Road, Garth Road and Tower Hill, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 5 days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
