What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Frome To Radstock Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Frome To Radstock Road - from the junction with Lower Street to the junction with Murtry Hill Lane. A total distance of 230 metres.

This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement.

The Order becomes effective on 14 August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24 August 2025 and last until 24 August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 for a total of 8 hours.
