What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL

 TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000144146292: The City of Manchester (King Street, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary No waiting and No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to restrict vehicular traffic from Cheapside to Pall Mall. The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order to facilitate a crane for cladding inspections. 
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 3rd August 2025 to 3rd August 2025. The order shall come into operation on 3rd August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If the restriction ends within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
