What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(FIXBY LANE, WHITELY, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fixby Lane, Whitely from either side of Pendle Hill Grange
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Falhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Liley Lane, Back Lane, Fixby Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 6 August 2025 and remain in force until 8 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FALHOUSE LANE, WHITELY, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Falhouse Lane, Whitely, Dewsbury from a point approximately outside property no. 3 Fallhouse Lane to a point approximately outside Quarry House
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Falhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Liley Lane, Back Lane, Fixby Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 4 August 2025 and remain in force until 6 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CROSS STREET, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cross Street, Batley from its junction with Commercial Street to Wards Hill
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wellington Street, Commercial Street. It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 6 August 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(JACK LANE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jack Lane, Batley from its junction with Saville Street to its junction with Peter Hill
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:

Diversion - Commonside, Wood Lane, Mill Lane, Rouse Mill Lane, Bradford Road, Jack Lane

Diversion 1- Commonside, Crackenedge Lane, Greaves Road, Bradford Road, Jack Lane    

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 4 August 2025 07:00 and remain in force until 14 November 2025 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOOD LANE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Lane, Mirfield  from its junction with Helem Lane to a point approximately near Waterside Walk
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Helm Lane, Paul Lane, Bog Green Lane, Colne Bridge Road, Cooper Bridge Road, Leeds Road, Huddersfield Road, Wood Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 18 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 27 August 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STAINCLIFFE HALL ROAD,
DEIGHTON LANE, HEALEY, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Staincliffe Hall Road, Deighton Lane, Healey, Batley from its junction with Halifax Road to its junction with West Park Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Healey Lane, West Park Road, Common Road, Halifax Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 22 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 27 August 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FOOTPATH SPE/24/40 OFF WHITECHAPEL ROAD, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath  an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of  Footpath SPE/24/40 off Whitechapel Road, Cleckheaton from its junction with Whitechapel Road to Footpath SPE/42/30 at a point approximately near The Priory Pub.
PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Footpath SPE/42/30, footpath SPE/42/40, footpath SPE/42/10, Snelsins Road, Snelsins Lane, Bradford Road, Whitechapel Road and vice versa.    

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 7 August 2025 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 17 July 2025 and will remain in force until 14 January 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).
