Cannon Street - Introduce No Waiting At Any Time Parking Restrictions
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (CANNON STREET) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 2025.
The Order will introduce no waiting at any time parking restrictions on Cannon Street. The Order is necessary for the demolishment of the Adelphi building. The order is due to come into operation on the 24th August 2025 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 16th December 2025. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be requested by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team via the email street.works@salford.gov.uk or the postal address below:
