Reginald Street, Rooke Street - Waiting Resitrctions, Speed Limit And Revocation Of One-Way System

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (REGINALD STREET, ROOKE STREET) (WAITING RESITRCTIONS, SPEED LIMIT AND REVOCATION OF ONE-WAY SYSTEM) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.

The Order will introduce parking restrictions on Reginald Street and Rooke Street, as well as a 20mph speed limit and two-way system on Rooke Street, Eccles, M30 7DA. 
The Order is necessary for essential works to be done. The order is due to come into operation on the Monday 11th August 2025 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 31st August 2026.
