Calmore Road, Totton & Eling, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Calmore Road between its junction with Calmore Drive and its junction with Michigan Way.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Calmore Drive, Cooks Lane, Salisbury Road, Water Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 11th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days and working between the hours 09:30-16:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Clearview Services Group to complete utility works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: traffic@clearviewservicesgroup.co.uk.
