Ditcheat Hill - Temporary Closure For Valve Maintenance Works

Temporary Closure of Ditcheat Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ditcheat Hill - from the junction with Fosse Way to the junction with Ditchet Hill to Vale View. A total distance of 1058 metres.
This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out valve maintenance works.
The Order becomes effective on 31st July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 4th August 2025 and last until 4th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
