Woodlands Lane - Temporary Road Closure Installation Of A New Water Connection
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WOODLANDS LANE, QUARNDON
WHEN: 01 August to 02 August 2025
WHERE: Woodlands Lane, Quarndon between its Jct. with Burley Lane to a point 285m south of said Jct.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of a new water connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Burley Lane, Burley Hill, Duffield Road, Abbey Hill, Queensway, Kings Croft, Robincroft Road, St Edmunds Close, Blenheim Drive, Woodlands Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
