Cole Hill, Soberton - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – COLE HILL, SOBERTON, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Cole Hill between its junction with Peststead Lane and its junction with Chalk Hill.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: West Street, School Hill, Cutss Arch, Wickham Road, Selworth Lane, High Street

DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out pole replacement works.
