Bridge Street, Fordingbridge - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Repair Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BRIDGE STREET, FORDINGBRIDGE, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bridge Street between its junction with Salisbury Street and its junction with Ringwood Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street, Provost Street, Church Street, Bowerwood Road, Fordingbridge Road, Hillbury Road, Station Road, Daggons Road, Cranbourne Road, B3081, Station Road, Ringwood Road, Verwood Road, A31, Salisbury Road, Ringwood Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 28th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days and working between the hours 18:30-06:30).
