What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

A9, Stirling Road, Falkirk from 07:30 hours on 04/08/25 until 17:00 hours on 10/08/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes A9, Stirling Road, Falkirk from a point 420m north of its junction with Main Street (A9), Camelon, to a point 535m south of its junction with Lochlands Loan, Larbert or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A9, A88, B902, B906, A803, A9 and vice versa.
3. Vehicles visiting Lochlands Loan via Camelon can gain access/egress to and from the industrial area from A883 (Falkirk – Denny Road). Additional signing will be erected to direct these vehicles.

Adam Crescent, Stenhousemuir from 08:00 on 04/08/25 until 23:59 on 13/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Adam Crescent, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to number 11 in a westerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
Canalside Drive, Falkirk from 08:00 on 04/08/25 until 17:00 on 29/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Canalside Drive, Falkirk from a point adjacent to North Muir Avenue in a westerly direction for approximately 120 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: North Muir Avenue, Wester Newlands Drive, John Valentine Place, Canalside Drive or vice versa.

Drum Road, Bo'ness from 00:01 until 23:59 on 05/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for road resurfacing to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Drum Road, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Drumacre Road in an easterly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Drum Road, A993, Drum Road or vice versa.
